Tena Fare

Michele, the guide's wife recommended La Tortuga for supper. It was already dark by 6:30, and she was kind enough to give me a ride. Their place, Hotel Casa Blanca where I would have stayed if it were not full, is clear on the other side of this small city. I had a delicious carrot soup and an avocado/chicken salad with some fried plantain thingies. Jugo de guanabana, one of my favorite beverages on the planet.
